The versatile Tamil actor Chiyaan Vikram, known to be one of the hardworking and dedicated actors of Indian cinema, and is considered next ,only to Kamal Hassan for his thirst to appear in different getups and scripts with extreme levels of physical transformation (Like Shankar's I), last had a Release this Pongal, with Sketch.
The movie, directed by Vijay Chandar who had previously directed Simbu starrer Vaalu, had Chiyaan playing Jeeva aka Sketch, an expert in seizing vehicles and a ruffian and had a social message conveyed in the end. Sketch had a decent run at the box office, as it was well received by fans of Vikram who were rejoiced to see their matinee idol in a mass avatar reminding of his Gemini, Dhool days.
After more than a month, Sketch is all set to have its Telugu dubbed version released on February 23, as there are no Biggies scheduled. The movie will be released by veteran producer Suresh Babu in his Suresh Productions and has Tamannaah playing the female lead. Let's see if sketch can paint a success story in Tollywood, as post-Aparichitudu, none of the movies of Vikram have fared well in AP/TG box office.
