Director Murugadoss who had last delivered the disastrous flick SPYder with superstar Mahesh Babu returns with his Thuppakki and Kaththi star Vijay with a full on political entertainer which had been in news for Plagiarism and other controversies. Here's team AP Herald's exclusive first on net Sarkar first report.
CEO of a corporate firm Sundar (Vijay) returns to India to cast his vote, getting to know his vote was misused and decides to fight the culprits, political kingpins Radharavi and Pazha Karuppiah. Now he dives deep into politics to contest elections. Whether Sundar became the CM ultimately or he lost his battle is what Sarkar is all about.
Except for Radharavi and Varalaxmi's performance, even Vijay couldn't help sarkar as he delivers a pathetic act, with cliched and annoying body language and dialogue delivery, and Keerthy Suresh looks badly made-up. The screenplay is completely referenced to previous political flicks like Bharat Ane Nenu, Mudhalvan, and leader and even the story was Plagiarised from Varun Rajendran. With poor music from AR Rahman and just the cinematography being the highlight, sarkar ends as a dull and disastrous diwali dampener.
High time Vijay practices what he preaches in movies, as he has been a part of a conspiracy to crush small movies, steal the ideas of another creator and ultimately ends delivering a dull flick. Sarkar's so called director deserves an Oscar for still claiming it's his imagination. If ARM delivered a flop for Mahesh Babu with 'SPYDER', he has delivered even a bigger failure with Vijay.
