Ratsasan was a movie that had been in the making for more than 3- 4 years, and despite being made with saleable stars like Vishnu Vishal and dusky babe Amala Paul, and made by director Ram Kumar who had a victorious debut with the rural comedy entertainer Mundasupatti, the movie did not release.
However, all the issues were sorted out, and the movie was released yesterday with good expectations thanks to the interesting promos and trailer, and the movie has now opened to a massive response, and the audience is enjoying the thrills and chills offered by the suspense thriller.
The movie stars Vishnu Vishal as a cop investigating a psycho killer murder case and is about how he resolves it. The movie has become a comeback hit for Vishnu Vishal after the dud Kathayanayagan and for Amala Paul after her disastrous Baskar Oru Rascal.
