The slim and sexy babe Trisha, who's currently busy with few projects in Tamil, like the thriller Paramapatham vilaiyaatu, Bhogi and few Telugu projects in pipeline, has been out to experiment with different kind of roles of late, trying to break the image she had always possessed, for instance, by playing a negative role of a clever politician in 2016 hit Kodi. She agrees to everything which comes in her way.
Following her experimentation mode, she has signed a new project, and this time around, Trisha will be seen playing a detective for the first time in her career. The film, titled kuttrappayirchi will be directed by Debutant Verniq, a former associate of national award-winning maker Bala, and will be set in the 80s.
Kuttrappayirchi will be based on a real murder case, and Trisha's role is inspired from the life and times of Ranjani Pandit, known as India's first female detective. The film will also have national award winning actress Priyamani making an appearance in Tamil after a break, and she'll be seen in a vital role. Meanwhile, Trisha is happy as 'Hey Jude' receives some good reports.
