Bottom Line: A riveting thriller with little horror elements !

Story

The movie's story revolves about Dinesh ( Vijay Antony) who lives happily with his wife Arundadhi Nair. But all of a sudden he hears some voices from him, which induces to kill himself. He takes treatment in a mental hospital and the doctors finds his illness because of his ancestral past. Watch the movie to know what is the ancestral past which troubles him.

Star Performance

Vijay Antony's acting is superb in the movie. The first half is filled with twists and turns and many are confused about the suspense and the director has given an interesting story sequence. Arundadhi Nair has acted excellently and she has done her part of acting Superbly and has proved her individuality. The background scores by Vijay Antony is the main attraction for the sequence.

Techinical Team

Bethaludu is reportedly based on Stieg Larsson's novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The film has Charuhasan, Meera Krishnan, YG Mahendra, Siddhartha Shankar, Kamal Krishna and others are in the cast. The songs have received good feedback from many. Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy's screenplay needs a special mention during the first half as many scenes are interlaced with different twists and turns. However, he lets go of things during the later part and makes the film predictable and slow. Pradeep Kalipurayath's cinematography and Veera Senthil Raj's editing is made decently.

Analysis

As far as Bethaludu is concerned it is a film which has some very gripping moments. The storyline and execution are quite new and makes things interesting for the entire first half. If you are bored of masala entertainers this movie is quite different and interesting.
