Presently Samantha is in leading position in Kollywood as well as in Tollywood industries. Recently it was stated that by next year she will be marrying Tollywood actor Naga Chaitanya and so currently she is booked to play lead roles along with Siva Kartikeyan and with Vishal.
Kollywood sources have stated that under the directorial of Ponram, Siva Kartikeyan and Samantha are booked to play the lead roles and the shooting commences next year and meanwhile Vishal, Arya and Samantha are acting under the directorial of Mithran.
It was stated that the Pooja for the movie was done and the shooting work has also commenced and Samantha has also started to act in the movie titled as Irumbu Thirai. Previously she has acted in Telugu movie Janatha Garage and currently she has started to act in her next project.
In this case, Samantha has now completed her first schedule of 'Irumbu Thirai' under a debutante director's direction. This was a short schedule and reports said Samantha shot for whole night without sleep. This is the first time, Samantha is shooting for a whole night !
