D-Day has came finally ! Mahesh Babu's 'Brahmotsavam' has struck
screens today and USA premiere shows and benefit shows have ended in all
areas. So is this movie really a celebration ? What does fans of Mahesh
Babu think ? Most of the fans feel the movie is pretty much 'Below
Average'.
The first thirty minutes itself is jam packed with songs and that pretty much tests the patience of audience. Most of the fans feel that Srikanth Addala has played spoil sport with a loose screenplay. Few fans feel that the high emotions might work with family audience and 'B', 'C' centers.
'Brahmotsavam' is 'Below Average' : 'Celebration Missing'
Madhuram song for Mahesh introduction, Naidorintikaada for Kajal & Mahesh together, Vachindhi Kadha for Anandavalli marriage and other two songs back to back are just pulling down the movie like anything. Positive thing is Mahesh Babu and after him, it is Cinematographer Rathnavelu and Art director Thota Dharani.
Fans also feel that too much of supporting cast has completely shredded the movie. But such a movie after a stupendous 'Srimanthudu' ? It's time to turn back to meaningful commercial entertainers Mahesh ! Even in theatre we can hear more Boo's !
