Ladies and Gentlemen Review - Story

He always tries to fulfill her every need, and even manages 2 Lakhs for a nose surgery. But in a short time he finds himself in a tough situation as he is neck deep in credit card debt.

Skeptical: A happily married couple Anand (Kamal Kamaraju) and Priya (Nikita Narayan), stay in their new flat. Anand owns a software company Popcorn Apps in Hyderabad. Though they are happy with their life proceedings, the couple is divided by responsibilities.

Sinless: An innocent under graduate Krishna Murthy (Chaitanya Krishna), who always seeks for a girlfriend on Facebook. He even finds one, Deepu (Swathi Deekshith) but his happiness is fugacious.

The rest of the story is how shammer geek, Skeptical wife and Sinless dude end up in this cyberspace world.

Ladies and Gentlemen Review - Star Performance

Mahat Raghavendra has neither the legerity nor the instinct of a computer hacker He moves like acedia, looks perpetually confused or cocksure, and mysteriously develops graveness after moving into the new flat, a condition that bums its head only at the script’s convenience. Even the dubbing was not appropriate for this character. Adavi Sesh fits in well in his part, though a little more intensity would have done wonders for him. Kamal Kamaraj, the most experienced of the trio is convincing and brings in certain credibility to the matters. Determined Krishna Chaitanya, delivers his lines with full gusto yet fails to make an impression. Coming to actresses Nikitha Narayan plays a major role and put up a decent show. Jashmin Bhasin and Swathi Deekshith will grab some attention for their different characters. Rests of the characters are fine in their limited roles..

Ladies and Gentlemen Review - Techinical Team

Ladies and Gentleman is a free make of Bollywood film Login (2012) directed by Sanjeev Reddy. The chief associate director PB Manjunath of Login has turned director with this film. Ladies and Gentleman tracks three parallel lives of Krishna Chaitanya, Nikitha Narayan and Mahat, who are deeply snarled in the world of internet relationships. Even though the concept and premise of Ladies and Gentleman is established pretty interestingly, some clinched sequences make one wonder why no new ideas have been thrown around. The screen writer Manjunath must be appreciated for the promising new developments and building some fine momentum to this anthology. As a director Manjunath, disappoints with this remake. The film manages to rank as bearable for the sheer novelty in its concept. And though the Idea is less delved into, the singularity suffers a beating when director hams up old clichés adding to it a new spin. The inspired laughs are few and most lack spontaneity, which will make it hard to squeeze out even a giggle from the audience.

The story turns drabber in the second half and with all the complications on screen, untying the tangled story becomes a harrowing experience. Even director could have worked on geeky lines of the script like, Credit Cards Skimming (Every customer gets an message for the every transaction, they make through credit or debit cards), Skimming is an age old process which can be easily tracked through the IP’s, And no one tracks an phishing attempt in BPO, when the hacker writes a code and registers it on the same domain of company (which is already registered) and gets the pass code successfully; Mahat even makes the goods deliver to his home, which were bought by the skimmed credit cards; Swathi doesn’t worry about her identity post her issue in Hyderabad. Sharp dialogues are rare which doesn’t make it an excellent caper either. To P B Manjunath’s credit, he has chosen a good team of cast which makes the film bearable. The film is quite well edited by Naveen Nooli. The music by Raghu Kunche is trendy, but the poor song situations don’t complement the musician. The background score suited the situations. Cinematography of Jagan Chawali is okay. Production values of PL Creations & Shirdi Sai Combines are alright.

Ladies and Gentlemen Review - Analysis

Ladies and Gentleman is quite a breather from the mindless entertainers we are subjected to on many Fridays. The film dallies between being a romantic entertainer and a message oriented film. Post interval, it becomes a full-fledged serious film and hence the proceeding go off- kilter. Baring Krishna Chaitanya and Kamal Kamaraj, the rest of the characters needed fleshing out. Ladies and Gentleman would have been better with a tauter screenplay, more entertainment, developed relationships between the characters, convincing climax and a better title. All in All, Ladies and Gentleman is a merely a moderate entertainer, not a must-watch, but if you insist on going to the theatres this weekend, this will be the shinier one from the lot that released this weekend.
