Puri's Assistant sexually harassing a budding actress

A Budding Actress, Sonali filed a complaint on VS Phani, a former assistant of Puri Jagannadh for sexually harassing her. The actress complained that Phani is trying to sexually molest her promising to give her a chance in one of his upcoming films. Phani worked under Puri Jagannadh until some time ago and recently directed a film titled '24/Love'. Sonali is one of the actress of 24/Love. Phani had been asking her for sexual favours to cast her in his next film also. 24/Love has completed its shooting part and is gearing up for release. The film stars Chandu, Sonali and Alekhya. The Police have registered the case and started investigation. We tried to contact Phani for an explanation but he is not available. When we contacted Puri Jagannadh's office for a clarification on this issue, they simply said, "Phani once used to work here but is no longer employed with Puri Jagannadh or any of his companies. We further disassociates any things or actions that happened when he is not employed with us". Meanwhile, Sonali demanded to halt the release of the film.
