Renu Desai reveals Pawan Kalyan's secret

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's son name is Akhira Nandan. It is widely publicized that Pawan Kalyan himself named his son as Akhira after the great Akira Kurosawa, the great Japanese film director, screenwriter, producer, and editor. He is regarded as one of the most important and influential filmmakers in the history of cinema. It was told that Pawan Kalyan was a big fan of Akira and so named his son after him. But years later the truth is revealed. It is not Pawan Kalyan who named him but the name was the choice of his wife (then wife) Renu Desai. It was recently revealed by Renu Desai in an interview during the promotion of her directional debut, Ishqwala Love. She said that she is also a great fan of the legend and it was her idea to name their son. Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan were divorced and now the actor is married to another lady. However both Renu and Pawan are maintaining good terms with each other and they do meet regularly. However Renu rubbishes media reports of Pawan Kalyan helping her in the debut film, "Pawan always said he is there to support me in trouble. I didn’t get any trouble and didn’t ask for his help. Media has exaggerated saying that I got lot of help from Pawan but nothing of that sort. One more secret Renu Desai revealed is that she had worked as assistant director for Kushi. Interestingly Ishqwala Love also has a little cameo of Akhira. It is one of the rare occasions in which the mother and son are debuting as director and actor respectively!
