Here is a much disappointing news for Nandamuri fans. The much awaited
200 days celebration event of Nandamuri Balakrishna's Legend movie is
now postponed. The film is running successfully over 200 days in Shiva
theater, Emminganur, Kurnool district. The fans of the actor had planned
a huge celebration event marking the occasion on 12th of this month.
The actor and director of the film were supposed to attend the function
but now it is postponed to 21st of this month. Emminganur TDP MLA,
B.Jayanageswara Reddy who is also big fan of Balayya has made all
arrangements for the event. But suddenly couple of days ago, the MLA's
mother expired and the actor asked fans to postpone the event so that
proper respect is given to the departed soul.
Gone are the days when a movie success is gauged on the number of days
it runs in theaters, now collections and openings are parameters of the
movie success. Makers are releasing movies in as highest theaters as
possible and are trying to milk maximum collections in the first week
itself. At most a film business is winding up in the first two weeks of
its release. A movie running for 50 days is a big achievement these days
and anything beyond that is a wonder. But even in this trend, Nandamuri
Balakrishna's Legend ran for 200 days. Kudos Balayya!
