Shruti Hassan makes Kamal Hassan Proud

It is not a cake walk for Shruti Hassan in film industry even though she is the daughter of Universal Hero Kamal Hassan. She first entered filmy world as a singer and musician and later turned in to an actress. The initial career is really tough with no successes. Despite having the oomph and talent, she was refused many offers just by terming her as 'unlucky' and 'iron leg'. She first bagged the major success of her career with Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh. The film went on to become the second biggest hit in Tollywood history then and from then there is no looking back for Shruti Hassan. She is a top heroine down the South and even offers from Bollywood came in her way. She was until recently staying in a rented house in Bandra, Mumbai. She could easily buy a house with her father's money but she vowed to buy her dream house with her own money. Recently she bought a spacious flat in Mumbai with her own money. She does not wants to hire an interior decorator and wants to do it all herself.Her apartment is a spacious one, with two bedrooms, in one of the top storeys of a high rise. She has a dedicated room for her music collection and even put up world class high-end speakers in one of the room. Kamal Hassan reportedly is very happy about her achievement and is proud of her individuality. Shruti Hassan is equally emotional. She is going to have photos of her and her parents in the living room of her new house.
