Actress Amala Paul and Tamil director AL Vijay were engaged earlier today. The couple got engaged as per the Christian traditions and exchanged rings in a church at Kochi, Kerala. The event which took place earlier today was attended by family and close friends. Amala Paul is the center of attraction as she is beaming in the traditional christian white gown. Amala Paul and Vijay are going to tie the knot on June 12 in Chennai in the presence of both the families.The wedding is going to be a big fat event with industry biggies from Tollywood and Kollywood attending it. The couple is planning to go on a honeymoon for a month taking break from all their commitments. In general heroines do disappear once they get married. Many thought Amala Paul will also do the same and started predicting about her retirement plans. But now Amala Paul had rubbished all these rumours. She had informed her producers that she is not at all interested to stop films. She assured them that she will be back to work once she completes a planned 3-4 months holiday.
