Oh My God Telugu remake with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh playing lead
roles is all set to go on floors from end of May. Suresh Babu and
Sharath Marar are jointly producing the venture and director is yet to
be finalized. Earlier there were reports emerged about the movie title
and it was said that makers are considering ‘Ori Devuda’ as title for
this satitical drama. But seems they were not convinced with the title
and opted new one.
As per the sources, 'Daiva Daivam Bhaje' is title confirmed for this
thought-provoking flick. But we need to wait for official confirmation
on this. It’s worth to recall that the title is taken from the lines of
the popular song from Pawan Kalyan's blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi.
Kishore Pardasani aka Dolly is directing the movie while Suresh Babu and
Sharat Marar are jointly producing it. Pawan Kalyan will reprise Lord
Krishna done by Akshay Kumar while Venkatesh essays a middle class shop
owner character owned by Paresh Rawal. Rajendra Prasad is said to
reprise the godman role replacing Mithun Chakraborty from the original.
Buzz is Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Tamanna Bhatia are to dance on
special number which is said to be major highlight of flick. Ori Devudo
is expected to grace theaters on October 2nd as Gandhi Jayanti special.
