Rowdy backfires for Vishnu in US

Ram Gopal Varma's Rowdy starring Mohan Babu, Vishnu released to a grand release today with US Premiers yesterday. It is released almost close to 50 screens in USA through Vishnu's own Us distribution company, 24 Frames Factory LLC.  It will cost average $1100 ($850 for virtual setup fee and $250 per digital drive) per screen to release the movie in USA including virtual setup fees and digital drive cost. So, total expenses will be around $50 to 60k. It should do gross of about $150k to recover the expenses as all these theaters/multiplexes will pay only 40 to 45% for these kind of movie grosses. However the movie seemed to be heading towards a dud in Overseas. The movie barely managed minimum occupancy for the premiere or regular shows. Trade experts predict that the movie, the first venture of Vishnu's 24 Frames Factory LLC is heading towards a disaster in Overseas.
