Review :

Director Maruthi, who is known for making adult comedies has been producing A rated comedies and introducing many directors that take him as an inspiration. After Romance, here is another such film from Maruthi's production house.

What is it about?

Insecure and innocent youngster Akash (Rahul) marries Meenakshi (Shravya). Everything goes well for the couple until Meenakshi decides to do a job. There is one stalker that targets her and Meenakshi has a male friend that raises doubts in the insecure mind of Akash.

Performances:

Rahul of Happy Days fame gives a pathetic performance in the lead role. His dialog delivery is too bad. Shravya's liberal dose of skin show may attract few. Camera keeps on lingering on her midriff throughout the film. Rest of the star cast is either amateurs or new comers. None of them makes an impact.

Technicalities:

Govardhan, in short Govi, made his debut as a director with this film. Not a movie that any debutante will feel proud of! Director wrote an awful script that incorporates sleaze and vulgar content for the commercial appeal. Screenplay is very bad and the director fails to get right performances from the star cast.

Producers should be ashamed of making such movie. Coming from the prestigious production house Creative Commercials, this film will shock one and all. On the technical front the film is B grade stuff. Nothing much to write about any technician. Songs are pathetic at best. Cinematography is weak.

Analysis:

Maruthi's success as a director with adult comedies like Ee Rojullo and Bus Stop is prompting other youngsters to take this route to success. Maruthi has a knack of narrating a wafer thin story in an interesting manner apart from that adult jokes. Directors that blindly follow him are failing to get their script right. Instead they are stooping to lower levels to make the films work.

Love You Bangaram is a horrible film on many grounds. The film showcases software professionals in bad light. Everything has been exaggerated to extreme levels in this film. Where will you see an IT office where all the employees behave as if they are sex starved perverts? Director absolutely has no respect on women and that can be seen in each and every scene. Too many bedroom scenes on the lead pair prove that the director is looking to make this film work by hook or crook.

There is a villain amidst all this nonsense and the way heroine talks and behaves with him on phone is sheer Z grade stuff. Director took a contemporary point that most women are facing now. But he couldn't bring that on to screen in a proper manner. His bad narrative skills and poor direction never gives a glimmer of hope for this awful film. Stay as far as you can from the theaters playing this film. It will go down as one of the worst films in the history of Telugu cinema.

Verdict:
We can't Love this Bangaram.
