Why has film maker Gautham Menon dropped the reigning queen of south Indian films – Samantha from his next venture. He had introduced to the tinsel town with Ye Maaya Chesave which was an all time hit with its soft love story and also launched Nag Chaitanya. The film had catapulted Samantha to superstar stardom.That’s all past now . The actress who acted in three of Gautam’s films is now left high and dry. The interesting news is that Gautham has zeroed in on another fresh face -Pallavi Subhash as the female lead in his next film to share screen space with Tamil actor Simbu and not Samantha .  Sources say Gautham has already shot for 15 days with the Marathi actress.
